TheMadaidaita Ma'aunin Mach-Zehnder(MZ Modulator) wata muhimmiyar na'ura ce ta daidaita siginar gani bisa ga ƙa'idar tsangwama. Ka'idar aikinta ita ce kamar haka: A reshen siffa ta Y a ƙarshen shigarwa, hasken shigarwar yana raba zuwa raƙuman haske guda biyu kuma yana shiga tashoshin gani guda biyu masu layi ɗaya don watsawa bi da bi. An yi tashar gani ta kayan lantarki. Sigogi na gani:

(5) Matsakaicin ƙarfin gani na shigarwa: A lokacin amfani na yau da kullun, ƙarfin gani na shigarwar MZM Modulator ya kamata ya zama ƙasa da wannan ƙimar don hana lalacewar na'urar, tare da na'urar ta kasance mW.
(6) Zurfin daidaitawa: Yana nufin rabon girman siginar daidaitawa zuwa girman mai ɗauka, wanda yawanci ake bayyana shi a matsayin kashi.
Sigogi na lantarki:
Ƙarfin Rabin Raƙumi: Yana nufin bambancin ƙarfin lantarki da ake buƙata don ƙarfin lantarki mai tuƙi ya canza mai daidaitawa daga yanayin kashewa zuwa yanayin kunnawa. Ƙarfin gani na fitarwa na MZM Modulator yana canzawa akai-akai tare da canjin ƙarfin lantarki mai nuna bambanci.
